Allan Stone has long designed and created works of art in various media including pottery, stained glass, watercolors, and oils. The artist holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts from State University of New York where he lived for most of his early adult life. A recurring theme in his work reflects the various aspects of landscapes, streams, and open skies of the mountain regions he still reveres.

Following in the footsteps of recognized European artists in his family, he has been encouraged to grow his artistic talents from impressionism and realism to styles in-between, as from warm to wintry; as he is moved to posture and express these feelings - whilst reflecting the passions and ardor around him swathed in an evocative wrap of all things nostalgic.

Currently the artist is completing a series of oil paintings that reflect his appreciation of all things natural and universal romantic notions that have followed him throughout his life. For his current work, his blog can be viewed here.

The artist selectively mulls unique pigments and high-grade oils creating a proprietary palette of oil paints which adds to the uniqueness of his works. In the spirit of European painters he admires, the use of gold and metallic foils is prevalent in his limited edition works. The diverse limited editions he creates in his atelier are expected to meet the demand for discerning collectors in Europe, and he looks forward to exhibiting in galleries that value expressive art that emanates hope for the future.

Artistic skills aside, for decades Mr. Stone has enjoyed building art collections of unique works for himself and select clients; and has sold fine art in prominent auction houses worldwide. As well, he still manages private sales for individual collectors who wish to divest or enhance their art collections.
