Jorge Araya

Jorge Araya is a renowned Central American artist born August 24, 1966 in San Jose, Costa Rica.  He studied at the University of Costa Rica and presently is a Professor of the Arts at the National University in Heredia province, Costa Rica. His museum exhibitions and multi-nation art shows have received  many credits and awards. Some of his works hang in the US Embassy and national museums of several Central America and Caribbean nations. In 2001 he was presented Artist of the year by ICE the Federal Communications Company of Costa Rica.
